Who we are

Get Involved

  • Friends of BCSIS plans three events during the school year designed to build community and engage students. These beautiful traditions are made possible by parent volunteers.

Community Growth Campaign

Donations to the CGC provide immediate and meaningful impact to the experience of our students. Support for CGC comes from current families, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni, faculty, and friends. The CGC begins each year on July 1 and ends on June 30. Join our effort this year to ensure that BCSIS’s extraordinary faculty, staff and students have all the tools they need to explore and learn.

Classroom Supplies

We do school supplies differently at BCSIS. Rather than have families buy supplies individually, we ask that each student bring in a check made out to BCSIS for $85.00. This fee allows classroom teachers as well as our art and music teachers to purchase supplies in bulk, guaranteeing that each student has the same supplies throughout the year. We use high quality materials as beeswax crayons, professional quality watercolor paper, main lesson books, wool yarn, and science journals. These supplies have a longer classroom life and enrich our arts integrated curriculum.
